Method development
Engineering simulation reproduces physical processes as they occur in reality. This requires an analysis model that represents reality accurately enough to answer the open questions reliably and economically.
Simulating standard tasks is often not sufficient. Increasingly, multiphysics analyses are needed, in which several analysis disciplines are coupled in order to capture the behaviour of the component.
Examples include:
- vibration of components caused by flowing media
- coupled thermal-mechanical analysis of heating processes
- electro-thermal analyses coupled with flow analysis, e.g. in the context of electric mobility
For questions like these there are no off-the-shelf solutions — an individual methodology for the analysis has to be developed. Alongside a deep understanding of the physical effects, this requires many years of experience with the analysis tools and experience in programming user routines.
We are your partner for developing a new analysis methodology.
With us you meet experienced analysis engineers who develop even complex methods and, where required, also transfer them to your own analysis engineers.
