DI at the SIMULIA Regional User Meeting EuroCentral 2026
At the SIMULIA Regional User Meeting — EuroCentral 2026 in Darmstadt, DI - Die Ingenieure was present with a talk. The event took place from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the Darmstadtium and brought users of the SIMULIA tools — including Abaqus — together with R&D and technical experts.
The Talk: MagicBOLT
On 17 June, Rüdiger Fichtenau, analysis engineer at DI, presented our tool MagicBOLT in the Ferrum track:
MagicBOLT – Seamless FEM Bolt Modelling and Evaluation
The talk showed how bolt verification to VDI 2230 can be automated directly from FEA results — solver-independent, with traceable documentation. The task that is often done laboriously by hand in practice is handled by MagicBOLT end to end and ready for review.
